About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Cook/Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook dishes following the provided recipes
- Ensure food safety standards are met during all stages of food preparation
- Operate kitchen equipment such as stoves, ovens, grills, and dough machine.
- Assist in menu planning and meal preparation
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Support catering and restaurant services as needed

Basic written and verbal communication skills
Organizational skills
Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
Ability to work as a team member
Follows directions and instructions
Prior experience in a culinary or food service role is preferred
Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with knife skills and basic cooking techniques
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
One to two years of experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook
Certificate in Culinary Arts preferred
Experience with various cooking methods and procedures
Familiar with industry best practices
